【星島日報報道】一批反修例示威者下午在觀塘聚集，警方表示，下午5時半左右，有警員奉命到港鐵觀塘站，處理一宗刑事毀壞案件期間，被暴徒以利器從後割頸警員。有警員頸部受傷流血，被送往聯合醫院救治，送院時清醒。 警方已即時於現場拘捕兩人。
發言人表示，暴徒行徑嚴重威脅警務人員的人身安全，以利器襲擊可以致命，警方必定全力追究。
據悉，受傷的警員為東九龍衝鋒隊第三隊沙展「祥哥」。他已於聯合醫院接受治療及檢查，右邊頸部有3至4厘米的傷痕，醫生初步表示其情況穩定，現於病房休息。其哥哥及太太亦到達醫院探望，他現時清醒及可作簡單溝通，將會進行進一步檢查。

[Sing Tao Daily reported] A group of anti-reform demonstrators gathered in Kwun Tong in the afternoon. The police said that at about 5:30 pm, police officers were ordered to go to the MTR Kwun Tong Station to handle a criminal damage case. After cutting the neck police officer. Some police officers were bleeding from the neck and were sent to the United Christian Hospital for treatment. They were awake when they were sent to the hospital. The police immediately arrested two people on the scene.
The spokesman said that the violent acts seriously threatened the personal safety of police officers, and the attack on the weapon could be fatal. The police must do everything possible.
It is reported that the injured police officer is the third exhibition of the East Kowloon Emergency Team, "Xiang Ge". He has been treated and examined in the United Christian Hospital. He has 3 to 4 cm of scar on his right neck. The doctor initially stated that his condition was stable and he is now resting in the ward. His brother and wife also arrived at the hospital. He is now awake and can communicate briefly and will conduct further inspections.
