It shows that Singkie PAP government is just trying to artifically inflating the economy by adding more digits to this land.

It sounded simple. We are a rental seeking economy. The more people comes in, it make the cost of living higher. Higher costing means more GDP. More GDP means better bonuses for these people perching on the top. When too many people chases more resources, the costs creep up and the land costing costs much more. When land costing rise, the govt will sell a land higher and the proceed goes into GIC.

When costs of land goes up, the rental goes up. It translates into higher cost to your food and services. It comes full circle.
