Shipyard 'accident' - 1,000 workers on the rig, ONE gangway!

I agree with Bro Moonlight.. Most shipyards in Spore only have 1 or 2 gangways.. Some gangways are more than 5 storeys high..

Must be tiring climbing up/ down the gangway. But what will happen if there is a fire broke out?
 
One time at ST Marine, there was a young delivery driver delivering life raft for my company's vessel..

LOL.. He was only wearing a cap, his company Polo T shirt and wore an Adidas sneakers instead of safety boots.. He went up the vessel to give me some DO to sign after crane operator brought up the life rafts from his lorry up to our vessel.. A Keling Safety Officer was also onboard the vessel and saw the delivery man not in proper attire but took no action at all..

Best thing was, the Keling Safety Officer was also having a quick puff of his Camel cig on the starboard side of the vessel..:D

what kind of vessel? got Safety Officer that means in shipyard right? is it gas free? debunker liao?

Yes ST Marine Shipyard at Tuas.. Normal container vessel.. Not much repair work that time on the vessel.. Keling Safety Officer can even smoke a cig on the sly.. LOL..

that is the thing, that is why i said all become roast duck. few hundred of mama rushing towards 2 gangway with five storeys high when fire break out or explosion. ho seh liao. all panic, some will jump overboard and some will fall overboard. if wet dock can jump in the sea still got chance to survive, if dry dock good luck man. because in shipyard mostly got hot work, that is must make sure gas free and ventilate those compartments before entering and even do welding in it. its a lot of things involved, mama engineers and safety officers not up to standard, only yaya like upper caste but brain kosong. lunch time eat a lot, the amount of brani looks like mole hole in the plate. i wonder how can the brain function when everyday u eat so much of rich and oily stuff. cannot take stress too, tekan them by asking questions. they will try to siam u or talk about other things.

I believed most shipyard companies have this Fire Exercise drill for their workers.. Of course SCDF will be called in case of any serious fire accident.. I remember one accident around a year ago, a Marine worker died in a small blast while doin some work inside an engine room of a vessel.. The accident happened in a small shipyard company in Gul.. SCDF was called but the chap died instantly..

okok ST Marine forgot northern tuas or southern tuas liao. long time never go there. everyone taking chance, even safety officer. skali got some explosive gas build up in some compartment escape with no one notice. kaboom!!! the mama become big fat roast pig.

bro, most of this type of industrial accidents involved in ship repair mostly fatal. but still gotta informed the authorities, investigations have to be underway. not can u handle the casualties or not, its why such thing happened? sure got lax at certain area that caused the accident. that is why damn tulan when i read the news today when JSL explained that they never call the SCDF because they can handle the amount of casualties! KNNBCCB! they are trying to cover up and hope people don't know. must be some mama making decision. irresponsible!!! head must roll from JSL. i think the management didn't even know what happened on the ground and accept that kind of explanation.
