The BBQ seafood and zhi char stalls are the main culprits, but the prices of most stalls are noticeably higher than at most other hawker centres. Your example is very much an outlier. My usual duck rice stall at Ghim Moh charges $5.80 for a medium sized portion, but a similar size duck rice goes for $8 at Newton.
