SINGAPORE - Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam will make a working visit to Washington DC, United States of America, from June 14 to 20.
His last bilateral visit to the USA was in May 2014, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
During the visit, Minister Shanmugam will meet National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other senior members of the US Administration.
He will also meet principal figures in the US Senate and House of Representatives, prominent strategic thinkers and members of the media.
In addition, he will attend the launch of the Congressional Singapore Caucus, speak at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and give an interview to The Atlantic.
Minister Shanmugam will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
