Today ST front page,it was reported the architects association in S'pore hit the roof when told that the design for budget T4 is open only to Foreign Company during last week meeting.The architect association is appealing against this ruling.Now it seems the Budget T4 is retracting and another meeting will be held.

What stupidity is this!!!.....Changi aiport is S'pore Icon and they have the heart to put aside our local talents infavour of outsiders!....This shoudln't have happen in the first place!I'm truly outrage.......​

It seems that after the GE, the FAP Traitors have hastened the marginalization of SGs to force them out of the country before the next GE. But why are they doing this? Why are SGs still returning them to power to do this?

Local firms need to wake up their idea now. If they keep employing FTs over sinkees, sooner or later, even govt also prefer foreign firms over local firms. What go around come around:

Changi Airport Terminal 4 design: Let local firms in, say architects

The job was to design the new Terminal 4 at one of Singapore's most recognisable icons, Changi Airport.

So local architects hit the roof when they were apparently told this: Only foreign firms need apply.

They claim that they were made to understand this during a meeting with the airport on March 14.

Less than a week later, the Singapore Institute of Architects wrote a letter to the Changi Airport Group (CAG) chief executive, Mr Lee Seow Hiang, to protest. A copy was obtained by The Straits Times​

This is really ridiculous, in other countries will be only local citizens/firms need to apply for jobs/projects but here is the opposite.

The stupid bugger should at least learn to wayang a bit. Get everyone in to submit design first. Who they decide is behind the scene liao mah. Reminds me of the other recent FT fiasco. Anyone remember that PRC only ad from Millennium Copthone Hotel? Temasek Times picked up the news and there was a huge uproar. The company later change the ad to pple who speaks good mandarin. According to a friend of mine who works there, the HR person got sacked
