More 3-wheelers on road
Numbers more than double in 3 years;
one of seven models here is classified as a car

THREE-WHEELERS no longer just mean tricycles for children. More adults here are taking to owning three-wheeled vehicles, with numbers for such vehicles having more than doubled in the last three years.

In 2007, there were just 84 three-wheelers on the roads; that number rose to 151 in 2008 and to 184 last year.

As of last month, there are 194 three-wheelers registered here.

because it can only carry one or 2 persons and not your entire family...

Well that's the idea isn't it ? Do you buy a bicycle to ferry your family ?
