Another fucktard who overpaid for his food, and then post on social media to tell the world what a dumb fuck he is.

Why can't he just ask for the price first before paying?

How much you expect the poor hawker to make after paying rental, food costs, packaging, gst and his labour out of this $7.40

That's equivalent to around $3.50 pre-Covid.

The things you buy are more or less the same. It's the purchasing power of your precious Sinkie dollars falling off a cliff.

No peanuts, anchovies and eggs? I will bring this up to the international nasi lemak association and have this estsblishment blacklisted.

May as well serve a kunang fish and one otah because complaints will come either way.

What is 'small food' centre? Lemme guess... a direct translation of 小贩?

Probably this stall. The nasi lemak in the girl's photo was $5, bought in 2022.

Happens to all 'renovated' hawker centres. It happened to Albert hawker centre. Next month, it will happen to Tiong Bahru hawker centre.
For Albert HC, some of the stall have now resorted to buying and using their own trays with only central collection services provided by the HC. The previous trays with in a horribly disgusting stated, not washed/cleaned properly. 1 stall told me that the seats (which I thought we in decent condition) were changed because the previous design had "groove" of sorts at the edge of the seats and it was prone to ticks hiding there. apparently, many customers had complained of being bitten while sitting
