Since they already have kids! Why gov reluctant to give PR. They already give out PR to single like rubber stamp.
If unable to get PR her husband will not able to work. How will the family be happy without money to survive?
Gov should consider each PR aplication care fully.
1. Those must be working at least 5 year in Singapore. Pay income tax.
2. Married for 5 year with local resident.
3. At least 5 year stay in Singapore or min 200 days/year.
4. No criminal record.

Suspect could be the criminal record part. Did mentioned in the article that he is a "snake head" after all. At least, if true, the government is doing something right for a change.
