This type of nurse is called "sister" already. Experienced older nurses who have been working in the operating theatre before the junior doctors were even just a sparkle in their fathers' eyes.
Their medical knowledge and clinical judgement far far surpasses the 6 years of textbook knowledge junior doctors got out of medical school. Don't play play.
