perils of a two-lane yellow box. this won’t happen if yellow box is confined to only 1 lane where the turning car must turn within the lane and yellow box. a two-lane or multi-lane yellow box blocks line of sight, creates blind spots, and causes confusion. if a car in front at other lane stops ahead of yellow box cars in the other lane should slow down and stop if necessary as a stopped car in slower lane indicates turning traffic. the ultimate fault goes to the lousy design of the yellow box.

Car going straight always has the right of way first leh... unless the traffic has stopped and there is space in yellow box, then the car can turn in.
