perils of a two-lane yellow box. this won’t happen if yellow box is confined to only 1 lane where the turning car must turn within the lane and yellow box. a two-lane or multi-lane yellow box blocks line of sight, creates blind spots, and causes confusion. if a car in front at other lane stops ahead of yellow box cars in the other lane should slow down and stop if necessary as a stopped car in slower lane indicates turning traffic. the ultimate fault goes to the lousy design of the yellow box.
