SINGAPORE – A car driver died in a fire on Nicoll Highway after an accident involving five vehicles on March 2.

The man had reportedly been trapped inside his blazing Porsche. His age could not be immediately established.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police were alerted to the burning car on Nicoll Highway towards Guillemard Road, before the KPE entrance, at 2.10pm.

SINGAPORE – An accident involving six cars, including a taxi, left two of them in flames on the PIE near Paya Lebar on Feb 27.

Responding to queries from The Straits Times, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the incident, which happened after the Paya Lebar Road exit towards Changi at about 10.15pm.

One car caught fire after the crash, resulting in the flames spreading to another car behind it.


All five car drivers aged between 27 and 41 were not injured, and neither was the 74-year-old taxi driver.
