Dr Chee needs to read up 三國演義 at least 3 times. Then he will learn how to fight a 選戰。
PAP is a very formidable opponent. It's like fighting 曹操 and his strong army. Being 溫良恭儉讓, which is obviously what Dr Chee is trying to do, will not get you very far. I would say 47% is just about the ceiling.
Dr Chee must now hope for the pak zham karma (PZK) to strike his opponent, and he will get a chance at by-election. That is provided the PZK does not catch up with him first.
The keling kia saga plus the antics of the Ah Soh admirer probably cost him 3%.

Chee Soon Juan is truly a son of S'pore who sacrificed his career and his family's financial security to try to curb the abuse of power by the PAP. It is truly despicable that the ruling party set out to destroy him, but Chee has not given up for the sake of his countrymen.

Most S'poreans lack the guts to speak out against a corrupt and greedy govt. Chee Soon Juan could have toed the line and advanced his career in NUS as an academic, but he spoke up for the people of S'pore.
Coolie Gene Sinkies dont deserved the goodness of CSJ. CSJ should just give up on Sinkies and focus on his family and the remain years of his life travelling the world and give talks on SG politics to make money for him and his family instead.
I am sure he will easy get 一百万 this way.
CSJ is a politician of his own unique style. He would not fit into a WP style of politics (built by Towkay Low).
CSJ is too ahead of his time where SG is concerned. If CSJ is only 35 currently I am sure he would make into Parliament over time. For now he should retire from politics and give talks to Universities, Think Tanks around the world instead and make good money for his family and him. He would make 一百万 very quickly.
Dr Chee deserves better. For what the White Elites did to him since the 1990s, if he write a book and give a talk in News clubs in Europe and US, he will make a lot of money for himself and his family.

Sinkies motherfuckers have been depoliticised since day one to view activism as an immoral word of carnage. In most if not all democratic systems the activist is the mediating party between the system and those pushing for reforms to the status quo. They stand in the gap, to bring about repproachment. HK has that sort of thing although it has its problems. Malaysia has it. You name it. Sinkielan is possibly the only developed country that outlaws activist politics. Given this absence, how do you incorporate the idea of an opposition into the current system? What is his role in the absence of mediation? Or is the opposition made to play the role of the activist under the guise of a different name? ? The fucking irony in all this is that LKY and his cronies were activists mediating between the ppl and the Brits!
