As for career choice as a NCO instead of commissioned officer, many would respect their choices.

Why would anyone be an NCO Instead or a real officer...? As in senior military officer? Bcos they can't...gone are the days when rsm etcs were king of the parade square...n in all honesty good NCOs make good officers...but officers without practical experience seldom make good or competent officers
