Probably it was planned ahead of time and that helicopter would have a regular schedule of flying that route. And SG is so aware of it.

Now that the number of Covid is rising exponentially, what better way to use this as a distraction.

They knew it was a police helicopter. They knew the route. They knew it would cross SG airspace in less than 5 minutes. And yet they scrambled F16s? By then the helicopter would have reached JB la.

And normally these sorts of incidence would have been kept under wraps if there is no impact on media or politics and would be resolved peacefully by MFA. But to make a hoohaa and get the media to sensationalise it points directly to an effort at distraction from Covid numbers.

Frankly who gives a damn whether fighter jets were scrambled? No one cares.

On average every day one time aircraft is scrambled. Why so quiet about the rest and kpkb about this during covid rising cases?
We are not so easily distracted.

"The spokesperson added that the RSAF deploys fighter aircraft to investigate and deal with 350 potential air threats each year, on average."

Singapore had already donated 20,000 Sinovac to Johor on July 29 (despite its own people unable to get any now) and will also give 100,640 Pfizer soon.
Does it look like they will be attacking us anytime soon ?-not to mention the mess at the national level .

Covid case counts are meaningless so don't worry too much about the numbers. As long as ICU cases and deaths are low everything is fine.

Got ball to tell Singaporeans of the intrusion, no ball to pubicly criticise Malaysia? The News must be false.
