What is the privilege of getting elected as a representative to represent your people ,to fulfill your inner most desire giving back to your country ? Hell No.

Likewise for PAP. LHL say ok .. if she insisted going ahead and accept the appointment. Then nothing you can do.

But I think for grab to offend everyone because of appointing Tin to head that division. It's not worth it , reason because the business of Grab is regional and worldwide. Tin can only influence the tiny puny Local Singapore market.

Husband was ex perm sec of MinLaw. Grab recently got approved by MinLaw to be legal ah long to all Grab drivers. Grab noes that it has to pay these kickbacks in some form to the ruling party. Probably used husband contacts to pull strings in MinLaw to get the approvals.
