This is super normal.

The workers will just seat at the roadside and eat. You can see rubbish on the roadside after weekends.

This doesn't only happens at Tuas. It happens at anywhere that has a dormitory nearby.

I can confirm. I live near a dorm and that area is part of my running route. There can be many dustbins around but the whole stretch of road will look like these pics. One redditor suggested fining the dorm operators. Not such a bad idea imho.

Tell dorm operator that u will escalate complain to Environment Ministry if their residents keep doing it. Its a health hazard and attracts rats , crows , pigeons and other vermin

They dont want license suspended, revoked …. they will act on it

Migrant workers like to use Telemedicine consultations in order to obtain medical leave easily; the majority of them do not even bother to pick up their medication from their dormitory's security post, making the place look like a rubbish dump full of plastic bags. They are gaming the system.

The migrant labourers know very well that its them that will clean up the place later.
