A car somehow lost control and rushed to the sidewalk, broke a lamp post and three trees and stopped on the lawn. The driver of the car struggled to get out of the car and was confirmed dead.
The accident occurred at about 6 am today (12th) in front of Block 672 of Bedok Pool Road.
When the reporter rushed to the scene after receiving a report from readers, the police had already pulled up a cordon in a large area to investigate.
Police pointed out that at 6:27 am this morning, police received a report that a coma 34-year-old male driver was found downstairs of a nearby flat and was declared dead after being taken to hospital.
