In UAE the rich men will kick their luxury cars smash them when they are angry, they will give away these cars FOC if they like you. In SG the not really rich men will guard these cars with their lives, and sue you if you scratched them. This show up the drastically different mentality towards assets and confident level of wealth. The Arabs's money came endlessly from their oil, SG got nothing, the money of these Ah Beng are what's left after the PAP Govt robbed them, so they guard what's left with their lives! They will fight you till the end to defend their cars! 
When Dubai was in economic troubles the people dumped these cars everywhere and fled the city. No such thing even as PARF values.
You see these pictures, they don't clean up their cars, no maintenance what so ever, no re-sale, they forgot about these cars when they got newer toys.
It is common the rich oil merchants or royals will give their merze to waiter or valet boys as tips in middle east.
