[Sg] - Doctor paying $52k monthly rent to operate Clinic in Tampines opens for business liao

They already publicly committed to charge normal consultation at $30-$35 , so after the initial hype dies down, what happen next is predictable.

Either they have to charge much higher medication price or shorten consultation time with teleconsultations to say 1 min or even 30 secs and issue multiple MCs over a short period of time like what happened to the MaNaDr Clinic case with licence revoked or simply close shop LOL.

These newer clinics offer a variety of services, not just cater to the low SES folks who want MC or a jab.

They would operate something like Crawfurd Medical at Suntec. Offer screening and diagnostics. And basic aesthetics surgery e.g. tattoo removal by laser.

Normal GP clinic becomes aesthetic clinic? might as well throw in plastic surgery LOL. Possible once desperation sets in. If that is their new plan, then they should operate in Suntec or more atas area instead of at a low-sees location like Tampines LOL.

They can also provide vagina rejuvenation therapy like that shop at Orchard Gateway. The machines and lasers are FDA-approved anyway.

Fear and vanity are the best motivators for sales. That's why there is a proliferation of tuition centres and massage shops islandwide.

Does the clinic offer virginity certification ? How much ?

@earthquake you know or not ?

Google AI gave this reply.

MUIS, the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, does not offer any certification related to virginity. MUIS is primarily responsible for Halal certification in Singapore, ensuring that food and other products meet Islamic dietary requirements. Halal certification involves verifying that products are permissible (halal) for Muslims to consume and use, based on Islamic law. It focuses on aspects like sourcing ingredients, preparation methods, and the cleanliness of facilities. There is no concept of "virginity certification" within Islamic law or MUIS's functions.

So desperate ah? Then I reckon @ginfreely will be the first carrot head to go there, sure help to sustain their business.

It's operating with very high fixed overhead cost, haven't even include other variance costs which is unsustainable.

Once the initial hype dies down, either it has to charge higher medication fees, shorten consultation time or ..

become Ayatollah. (Aiyah, Toh Lah!)
See loctor also got hype?

Of course what. With their name in the news lately, it becomes a curiosity hype. Can see during their grand opening got so long queues and even curious onlookers taking pictures LOL. But once the hype dies down, they will have to face the stark reality of such crazy fixed overhead rental costs. At $52K/mth, will be $624K per year. It will be interesting to see what kind of pattern or services they are going to provide to survive.

My take is after 6 months, they buay tahan already and will have to seek @sbfuncle help to crack the secret code in order to remain profitable LOL.

if the same premise was rented to any other type retail, doubt the owner can cover back even the rental, let alone their salary

Seriously if those onlookers are strangers, I have nothing to say.
Is not like a leestoran or spa for uncles to peek.
I presume they are the loctors leelatives.
