Govt said national conversation should not touch on sacred cows. Surely the govt should list the sacred cows so that the citizens know what the govt's sacred cows are? But as usual, the govt will keep mum. So what are the sacred cows that the govt is not willing to open up for discussion?

1. Internal Security Act

Sacred cows:
1. Internal Security Act
2. Transparency of SG's reserves (including GIC and Temasek): how much and how it is invested.

cpf

cpf is the biggest fastest cow. it is linked to housing, health, employment of locals vs foreigners, retirement. this is the single most important policy that has impact on other policies. it is the policy that built the nation in the 60s 70s. it is not becoming the policy that would break the nation unless reviewed.
