I am not sure about old people who does nothing all day, go into a packed train and immediately need to sit down. But i sure know what its like to be a tired student who has to wake up early in the morning, study the whole day, then take the train back home. Who needs the seat more?!

SMRT and SBStransit aren't saints either. The trains are crowded during off peak hours because of their fuckup policy of putting out trains at intervals of more than 5mins. Fuck PAP and their SMRT SBStransit. They caused this congestion problem in the train system.
