Good wife material. Imagine eating her nasi lemak everyday, for the rest of your life.

sinkie chink chicks love niggress names. shaniqua, shaleen, shaquila, shameena, shanice.

Look simple yet very appetising .
Uncle think shanice can make it.

$7.50??? Too expensive for me.

That's equivalent to about $4.50 back in 2018-2019.

Enjoy these current prices, they will rise further in future as the 'new normal'. But don't expect your wages to rise by the same proportions.

The only jobs in this cuntry where wages are more than proportionate to the inflation are the ones belonging to politicians.

You can blame the nasi lemak franchises for inexplicably turning nasi lemak, a peasant food, into something atas which commands a 'premium'. Other nasi lemak merchants then believe they can do something similar too.

Ponggol, Crave etc.

Also, this:

FYI, Nasi Lemak can cost USD18 in NYC. CAN18 in Toronto. AMDK's burger is damn easy to make. So is steak. However, NL not being locally priced is detrimental to us sgd7.5 is too much!

The young hawker also reflective of this new SG economy. They used to say can't find job become S(ecurity), M(C Donald's), R(ecycler), T(able cleaner). Now must find place to put the (H)awker.

Talking about Nasi Lemak, I suddenly remember that nasi lemak store outside Fire Disco in the late 90s. The fried chicken wings were damn solid. Can any old chiongsters remember that?

The funniest nasi lemak story is that people actually went to Holland village to search for nasi lemak stall operated by chen li ping in the media Corp drama Holland Village.
