Content creator Kasey Avarielle Low confronted a man after he allegedly took photos of her without her consent. (Photos: kaseyavariellelow/IG)
Content creator Kasey Avarielle Low is in the news after she accused a man of secretly taking photos of her without consent.
Low was playing pickleball with friends on a public court when the group noticed they were being recorded by a middle-aged man.
"One of my friends helped me to confront but the uncle straight up lied to him and so I went up to confront him," she wrote in an Instagram post which was accompanied by a video of the interaction.
In the video, she asks the man to show her his phone. There were no incriminating pictures found in his photo gallery.
However, when Low checked his 'recently deleted' folder she allegedly discovered three rows of photos which were zoomed into her shorts area.
Low was wearing running shorts but rightly points out in her post that clothing is never an excuse or cause for harassment.
She also admitted that, in hindsight, should have called the police upon discovering the alleged photos instead of deleting them instantly.
Her story was covered in more detail by AsiaOne and 8days.
