While sending my elder sis to the market this morning, turning on the radio there is an advertisement on this lion king musical
show which will be peforming in spore soon,i've heard this several times on radio but to me the the lion king is shouting in his africa zulu dialect only zulu tribe can understand...
but my sis was shocked and think this is a sexually offensive words use by the lion king..it goes like this

yaaa chi kon yaa yaya be chee bxx bxx..and then mama chi can be heard too..

now if a gal whether its my wife, sis or gf is in my car and the lion king advertisement is on the radio again,
i'll feel awkward/embarrased by his sexually offensive words...can the MDA ask lion king to tone down his choice of words on the radio.

I suspect you are right. I felt that there were quite a few Hokkien, and Cantonese vulgarities when I went to see the show within the first week or so. I won't be surprised if these ang-mohs make fun of us. In the other parts of the script, there were references to Singapore in other aspects, as part of their "localisation" process.

A Redifusion show host who recently arrived from Beijing announced one Sunday morning, '...相信很多听众还在睡懒觉吧。' (xiang xin hen duo ting zhong hai zai shui lan jiao ba)

A particularly fair friend of mine had China ladies telling him, '你真的超级白!' (ni zhen de chao ji bai)
