Im actually surprised that there is not sticky for a food thread. Anyway, wanted to ask if anyone knows where the claypot sesame oil chicken from ah seah coffeeshop relocated to? or have they stopped operating altogether? The coffeeshop was located at upper serangoon just beside the RHB Upper Serangoon branch. Miss the flavour, had one at old woodlands hawker centre but not up to par... Anyone?

Most sesame oil chicken is crap these days.

Pathetic, small and bony pieces of chicken.
Many pieces of ginger cleverly disguised as chicken meat.
Dripping with oil... oil from chicken fat. Not even a whiff of sesame oil smell.
Gravy? No, it is just an oily mixture of chicken oil and soy sauce.
