I have to admit that I haven't been to Sentosa for the past 20+ years. Also haven't been to the attractions like Gardens by the Bay. I rather stay home & take a nap, surf the net, .... or go to JB :D

I have no desire to visit Sentosa either, however I had to take my daughter to Universal Studio after CNY earlier this year when she kept pestering me to take her there - just because she was the only one in her class that still had not visited that amusement park, so I had to get off my feet and go. On my off days, I'd rather stay home and watch TV, or if I wanted to go somewhere, I'd rather make the effort and drive up to Malaysia, preferably its East Coast where the beaches are nice.

I remember my ex- company holding an off site at one of the resorts in East Malaysia. All the company staff went to the Tanah Merah jetty for a boat ride to East Malaysia. The boat ride was provided by the resort. That was the 1st & only time I've visited the East coast..

I'm not a beach person but if you want to avoid the hassle of driving, you may want to look into this.

That's what integrating with FTs is all about. Embracing foreign cultures and mingling with them. Having an earnest interest in them. Getting into the rhythm with them. :D

There is much more the PAP govt can do to boost mutual understanding of various communities.

Nothing great about Sentosa.. Over rated and over hyped by the Pappy backed Sinkie Tourism Board... Tourists should be informed that there is no such thing as a pristine beach and crystal clear water at Sentosa... Give me Desaru beach anytime over Sentosa..

There was a Blood Donor event at Sentosa earlier this year and I went there because of the free admission. The last time I was at Sentosa the casino/IR hadn't yet been built and the old monorail was still there.

There's a pirates-themed water theme park near the beach, lots of screaming kids and selfie-taking FTs. :D
