So much info on this guy - facts or fictions? Yet ..

no mention that he was first Chief Air Force.
no mention that he rejected politics.
no mention that he is actually a damn nice guy.
no mention that the guy who succeeded him is doing very well in comparison because he is a perfect political animal.

I wonder how much we know him

I think his only mistake is in signing on and yet rejecting .....
