I think no point for anybody to bail out SembMarine. Let it go bankrupt and then sell off for a dollar plus debt to Keppel.

I think its related to Borr Drilling. They owe Sembmarine US$800million. Within 2 years the share price of Borr Drilling had plummeted from US$200 to US$2 plus. Not sure if they have settled the charges brought against them by the US authorities.
Keppel paid $400 million for the court settlement. I think Sembmarine could be looking at a similar fig. Not vested btw.
