A THIEF who broke into an estate management office at Seletar Air Base over the New Year break made off with about $1,000 in $1 coins contained in a haversack.
The supervisor of the office, in West Camp Road, returned to work on Thursday and found the front door had been forced open and the office's wooden louvres broken. The office, which had been locked up at about 3pm the previous day, was not wired up with either closed-circuit TV cameras or an alarm system.
