i doubt if there will be any fighting in buildings in jungle warfare in south east asia.
US marine tried to hunt abu sayaf fighters in southern philippines using night vision from the sky, thinking that this will be like iraq and afghanistan. but the dense jungle made the night vision useless. you will have to patrol the jungles to beat the enemy.

tanks should be good,during wwii the british underestimated the gooks and thought jungles were impenetrable,turns out tanks steamrolled through the jungle.also if u are fighting against only insurgents and guerillas and not a proper army,then may i suggest the agent orange and napalm?

There is no easy solution to jungle guerilla warfares especially when insurgents mixed with civilians in the village. Either you kill all Muslims there or you will have unending guerilla warfares.

u forgot the side effects of agent orange,being a highly toxic pesticide or defoilage agent,it killed nearly 600,000 gooks,maimed and disfigured more and caused high incidence of cancer and diseases and high levels of birth defects in children and miscarriages.it is the perfect biological weapon against human beings.
