It takes about 2 years to plan and build an HDB block and it takes about 6 months for new family to settle down or a year to plan and buy home.. HDB has about 1 mil flat. if we have increased the HDB units by say 2% each year from 2007, we could have solved our housing problem..

now that the population has declined.. building another 45,000 units in next 4years??? these people's planning skill up the lorry...

Of course lah. Erection year mah.
Most build more more flats to satisfy the demand.
Before erection, they say build 71,026 in 2011.
After erection??? You guess how many?
