now let us look athe issue we are talking about....
to put it simply....if u want to engage in horse trading, u should do so behind close doors....

Precisely my sentiments. From the get go, why can't they agree on a single coordinated strategy to take on the PAP behemoth? Allow the party that stands the best chance to go one on one with the PAP. If the SDP and RP field candidates, it would be blatantly clear to all that they are just focusing on party interest and not Singaporeans. A three or four corner fight is a great disservice to Singaporeans. What kind of opposition do we have, when they keep doing us in?

And while we are talking, we are still waiting to see if the PM has the courage to call a by-election.

Every party is answerable to their own cadres and party volunteers than the so called "opposition cause" which doesn't exist. A party needs to keep expanding in order to progress. If u stay in your own turf means you are stagnating and will only regress.

Our oppositions is entering warring period.

They will have the exposure via election rallies and sell to Singaporeans what they have to offer. It's all about Exposure. What is the best exposure? For instance, SDP can use this rally to sell their "alternative policies". SDP don't win this BE doesn't matter. More Singaporeans would know more about SDP. The PAP supporters don't be too happy yet - win the BE battle but gradually losing support for 2016.

In GE yes, but not BE. Voters are not forgiving if you don't have the political sense to figure this out. They will punish you and then you hear excuse such as victim of PAP smear campaign.

SDP outshines by being the best at creating mirages and personas.

They claimed to bring up the most issues when WP had brought up more issues.

Then they claimed to be the most fiery in speaking, when another word for it is really speaking up boisteriously and rudely.

They claimed to be persecuted when they had sought persecution. Now they stopped doing things that caused them to be persecuted, showing that it is possible to avoid persecution. A slap on their own face.

They denounced the purpose of elections. Now they seem more eager than any party to contest elections.

They emphasized the most opposition unity and claimed to be the only opposition for it. Then like any other party they had criticized for not showing unity, they themselves did the same, going into wards last contested by other parties.

Outshining is easy and useless when you have no integrity.
