Who says there is no welfare in Singapore! The PAP ministers are on welfare, helping themselves to millions of taxpayers' money in what they call salary. This is welfarism in reverse, uniquely Singapore.
PAP Singapore is the only place claiming to be first world but having third world wages.
Fascist Lee Kuan Yew's Singapore is also the only place where foreigners are flooding in to turn it into a country of aliens.
The family fiefdom that is called Singapore is also the place where Singaporeans come last in terms of employment, etc.

They have not said anything about the PM speech except freedom. Even the weak NSP has commented on it. Even the pro PAP TOC has commented on birth rates, the financial crisis. What has the SDP done about this?
SDP has exposed the compliant judiciary, which is far more important.

The birth rate problems are consequences of flawed population control policies of theirs. They tried to play god imposing restrictions that tampered with nature. Instead of realizing the irreversible damage done and paying the price, they shirk responsibilities and want people to change their mindsets. Even promoting match-making at national level, expecting people to marry and bonk like rabbits to correct an error of their poor foresight. Bonuses, maternity leaves are short term paper candies, it's the long term difficulties a parent will face they should address.:p
