Not inconceivable. The cabinet in the US is appointed by the President and can be either Republican or Democrat. In short, the best man gets the job, regardless of which party you are from.

The SDA is one of the most nonsensical parties. Made up of the PKMS and SJP. It is simply an empty shell full of hot air. With the withdrawal of NSP and SPP, SDA is nothing.

How can this guy advocate for nominated ministers? This will mess up the constitution completely. This means that the PAP will be able to nominate anyone they want to be ministers, not necessarily Members of Parliament. So basically we have ministers with executive power, with no mandate from the voters. This spells disaster.

but it is still not acceptable by most people.. like how people felt about gms's "look after"

different systems.
presidential system - president is given the authority to appoint his cabinet. (premier and minsters)
parliamentary system - cabinet minsters are formed by members of parliament.

maybe SDA copied from Japan parliamentary model.
a majority of Japan cabinet ministers must be Diet members. ( either house ) a non-member of the Diet can be a minister. the PM must be a Diet member.

At least GMS clarified that the mp should look after the ward and not take care, which he deems to be like nurturing it including upgrading programmes and enhancements.

This clown on the other hand is essentially saying that the opposition candidates are not capable of running the country and they will need pappies to come back and run it even if they are voted out. Perhaps he is looking at himself and his own party members.
