I remember reading about a Brunei prince who led an armed coup. It was put down by the British and that event had terrible consequences. Lim kit siang who was then a reporter wrote very negatively about it and swayed public sentiment about armed conflicts against the Federation. Lky also used that failed uprising to justify the second Op Coldstore.Looking back in history, the Brunei Sultan can easily lay claims to Sarawak and Sabah. Then again, what's stopping the Sulu Sultanate from doing the same? Hmm...
