Looking back in history, the Brunei Sultan can easily lay claims to Sarawak and Sabah. Then again, what's stopping the Sulu Sultanate from doing the same? Hmm...

I remember reading about a Brunei prince who led an armed coup. It was put down by the British and that event had terrible consequences. Lim kit siang who was then a reporter wrote very negatively about it and swayed public sentiment about armed conflicts against the Federation.
