The Church of Scientology is notorious for its systematic abuse of its members. Coercion include forced donations, psychological intimidation, as well as stalking and even physical assault if members attempt to leave the organization. Murders have occurred and scientology members have been charged - and convicted - for crimes against "apostates".

Essentially the organization preys on the vulnerable in society who are sold the idea that they are in a weak situation because of society and science. The organization basically offers an opiate to trick people into thinking they can escape from their problems. In this respect, it shares a common characteristic with mainstream religion.

Scientology - the repudiation of science and logic as well as the embracing of wild conspiracy theories that its "leaders" fancy - is anything but benign.

when you have assets, excellent credit and mucho cash, they will sniff you out and spam the shit out of you everyday with snail mail, emails, texts, etc. they buy info from credit sources and selectively target their victims. the moment you're out of luck and your credit scores tumble, they leave you alone like the plague. bunch of pests and harassers.

Rubbish, Scientology has clearly taken over Tom Cruise and turn him bugged eye crazy and jumping on Oprah's couches and eating cushions and making endless sci fi movies,and yet we all like watching his movies.does that mean we like to consume the pop culture of scientology?
