SCHINDELHAUER bicycle - Made in germany

Have you seen it Real life, not just based on photo, will shock you how beautiful it is.
Just leave it as you cannot afford, or not willing to spend so much on a bicycle.

build quality like disappointing leh for German-made product............no doubt carrying a crazy price tag........

Could you be more specific. Where exactly is the build quality lacking?

i can't even ride a bike !

they got make tricycle boh ?

the 1st picture the metal like not as smooth as it should be...........considering it cost as much as a car !

It's Aluminium brushed finish you twit. It looks like a work of art to me.

If you want to pass judgement, you have to see the bike in real life. You can't rely on photos.

cannot leh.....i got medical condition lah...........i have a balance problem...............when i tried biking, i break out in cold sweat and get giddy spells...........

that's why i had to give up my lifelong dream of being a post man............or..........a Tour de France winner..........

see the 2 metal bars - 1 horizontal and 1 vertical...........where they join the ''triangle'' metal part...........finishing very rough leh.......

That part of the bicycle, strength is much more important than looks, really hard to get smooth weld at that location. I doubt the american can do better.

Ah, you are a fan of welding, yes, indeed schindelhauer may not have the best looking weld, but the whole bicycle just look so nice.
You want good welding, dutch bicycle manufacturer Koga Miyata have excellent looking welding on all their product.

Smoothly and quietly riding down the street- only listening to the sweet sound of the wind and the noise on the road. Only the advantages of the drive belt system can make it come true and the experience of riding it is in a class of its own. The idea of using a drive belt for force transmission by bikes is almost as old as the drive belt itself. The level of efficiency using conventional drive belts consisting of steel, aramid and fiberglass wasn’t very sufficient and satisfying.

yeah, it is very impressive

you can find this bike here :

The Urban Bike Pte. Ltd. 18 Boon Lay Way #08-117 TradeHub21 Singapore 609966 Tel: +65 9879 6813

but I think you would have already seen and touched this bike. Its on the 8th floor in the warehouse area. I nearly went in, but chickened out and settled for the cheap shop Rodalink downstairs.

you should at least go in and have a look. Look is free right.

is free lah. but the shop is more like a custom workshop (eg for cars), only serious people step in.

once you go in, your heart rate quickens, your legs soften, and there is a longing in your loins. Just look at the blardy no-chain chain! and people sell their kidneys for a dumb iPhone. imagine what you do for a custom bike with full carbon wheel set. mama mia!

oh i forgot. its a German bike.

The Cyclone is definetely a head-turning bike, designed for fast, comfortable rides. The main feature has to be it´s atypical frame leaving the saddle almost floating. All bikes are handcrafted out of stainless steel and are made to order corresponding to your measurements like inside leg and height.

Some consider it the bicycle capital of the world. So it's no surprise that Holland may have just reinvented the wheel. After a prototype he built for himself attracted so much attention from passersby that he could barely order a drink at the local bar, Dutch designer Herman Van Hulsteijn founded his own production studio to meet demand. Boasting gravity-defying stainless-steel curves, each of his bikes feature a two-speed kick shift and three-speed coaster brakes. The two standard models, the Woody and Bluefixie, are loaded with custom touches — choice of seat, rim, and frame colors available in white, black, blue, or orange. Sleek, eye-catching, and technically innovative, they're unlike anything else you'll find on the streets.

Those Schindelhauer bicycles are beautiful, thanks for sharing the photos and the write-up.

Honestly, I can't tell if they are MIG or TIG welds http://www.used-robots.com/articles.php?tag=2986

But one of the nicest welds is the fillet braze, it gives a sleek and clean look around joints. The raw look with just a top coat is very cool. And when you paint over, you can't even see the joints at all.

As for me, I prefer good old fashion lugged joints, because I am an old man.
