In a press release to the media today (June 26), the Singapore Civil Defence Force said that they will punish 28 of their officers who were involved in a viral video recording that show the SCDF men smoking and destroying furniture in their bunk.

The 28 officers are identified to be from the 20th Section Commander Course. Among the 28 charged, 14 are National Servicemen (NSFs) while 9 are SCDF regulars. An additional 5 regular officers are also charged because they are supposed to supervise the group. Two videos, believed to be taken by one of the 28 charged, went viral two months ago on April 24, 2015.
