From January to April this year, authorities received at least 190 reports of internet love scams involving approximately S$7.5 million, almost matching the 198 cases involving S$8.8 million for the whole of 2014.

I'm obviously in the wrong business on the internet.

I met a guy years ago who was in the same church group as Kong Hee in RI. Met him recently and he is a successful shipping lawyer with the one of the big boys. He told me he should have stuck with Kong Hee. He told me the he cannot believe that people are still throwing money at him despite the conviction. He also told me except for one of those convicted, all their legal bills are completely covered by personal donations from the flock and they were told not to go thru church channels. He said that all of them are prepared to go to jail and will come out and do the same as the money flowing in just to good to give up.

Explains why they came to Church dressed in the latest fashion garments.
