Media Statement from SBST: NEL train service between Dhoby Ghaut and HarbourFront stations is currently unavailable due to the overhead power supply system problem in the tunnel at Outram Park Station. It is estimated that service at this affected stretch will not be available for about six hours. While we work to rectify the problem, we will be providing free bus services at designated bus stops at the affected stations. The free bus shuttle service has also been activated. We apologise for the inconveience caused and will work to get full service back up as quickly as we can.

Taxis huat ar!

First they inconvenience you with their breakdowns. Then they offer you "free" bus services, when your time is not free and you are not so free. Only in Singapore.

Hey, you take too many buses, the buses may catch fire hor. More than 6 buses have become a burning inferno in the last 2-3 years, if not wrong. You like to burn, suffocate or drown in our public infrastructure. Maybe, our private operated public transportation servce providers may come up with a new gimmick from the corp comms, encouraging Singaporeans to push buses and trains to work to lose weight and stay healthy. And the amount of exercise equipment usage fee per session is definitely cheaper then the top class annual gym membership fees.

More than 6 buses have become a burning inferno in the last 2-3 years, .....

It wouldn't surprise me if some of those bus burnings were caused by disgruntled ex-employees
We'll never know because such thing will be covered up since it would give the wrong image of Spore & scare the foreigners from Spore.
