Seven taken to hospital after bus crashes into traffic light
New
Jul 22, 2015 6:00am

The retiree was standing in the bus when it went out of control and crashed into a traffic light, breaking it into two.

The impact sent her, and several fellow passengers, flying to the front of the bus.

“My left hand, leg and neck are bruised. After struggling to stand up, I saw an uncle whose face was covered in blood and he looked dizzy,” the retiree, who only wanted to be known as Madam Lee, 68, told Shin Min Daily News.

Seven passengers were later taken to hospital, reportedly for head injuries, broken bones and chest pains.

The accident happened at about 6am yesterday (July 21), at the junction of Toa Payoh East and Toa Payoh Lorong 7.

The impact shattered the left side of the bus windscreen of SBS Transit service 238, and left a trail of blood on the passenger seats.

What is the race, language and religion and nationality of the driver..? Sinkieland is getting more and more like Bangkok 5 years ago with shitty mini bus driver killing passengers with his driving.

Sinkieland is becoming more and more 3rd world.. Well done PAP..

It's just a minor lapse and slight disruption. No big deal.

Accident involving public bus is on the rise

I am a Chinese and I will always support any other good decent Chinese of any Nationality.

Now, I have told Josephine Teo , Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport many times

DO NOT TAKE IN CHINA BUS DRIVERS.

The reason being that they come from a country that is used to drive on the other side. So, if a driver has a slight lapse and hey DEJA VU, he thinks he is back in his home country he will make a wrong turn..Instead of turning right, he veered to the left thus causing the many accidents involving china bus drivers.

I am speaking from life experiences...I visit my son in Hongkong who is staying in Mid-levels.
We used the escalators many times during our stay in Hongkong. Many a times we stand on the left of the escalators which is the wrong side. The left is the express lane . We got brushed and stared at by the local residents there as we blocked their passage and busy schedule. Then only we realised that we are on the wrong side.

My message to Josephine is easily brushed aside by their controlled press.

We just have to keep our fingers cross when crossing the roads and not to be hit by these China Bus drivers.

China bus drivers are cheap, they reduce the labour cost and thus more money goes into the pockets of the shareholders and directors.

You think Josephine and the others give a fuck?
