SBF Technical Issues Discussion Thread

For past two days I had been experiencing some trouble in this forum and wonder of anyone has the same trouble. There are three I faced:

1. Auto-Log-Off

Whenever one logged on to SBF one will remain logged on unless one logs off or change of wifi signal or wifi signal gone then came back again or one turns on/of the VPN while logged on etc. However these two days while leaving a page to another I found I was no longer logged on. It wasn't every time but happens randomly.

2. Sometimes Command Short Cuts Disappeared



Yes the above shortcuts I highlighted all gone. I use Firefox most of the time and this is always there in Firefox but these two days sometimes its not there. Then I will try Safari and its also not there then try Chrome its there then maybe a few hours later came back to Firefox its there again.

When in Indonesia ok this is what happen, www.sammyboy.com is blocked by most operators so need to use www.singsupplies.com perpetually this group of command short cuts will never be there be it Firefox, Safari or Chrome. So when I turn on VPN to access www.sammyboy.com they will be there. Its frustrating.

3. Slow

Yes it takes a little longer to navigate from page to page again this is only occasionally but sometimes it will time out and an error 3xx type of number will appear. Again I have never experienced this before, first time.

All the above are new problems I encountered past two days and I hope it will not always happen.

No problem when using singsupplies.com but it's missing when using sammyboy.com and i have to reload page more than once.

Very easy solution. Just shut down this fucked up forum, problems solved!

I have adjusted cloudflare settings so let me know how it goes.

When you get the timeout, what error message you received? Also, did you login from sammyboy or singsupplies?

The internet is a complex set up. Different browsers, different operating systems, different devices (mobile vs PCs) different parts of the world, different server settings, different cache settings, different DNS plus to complicate matters Singapore runs an additional proxy server for everyone.

There is never going to be a situation where everything is 100% compatible.

I have tweaked the security settings to minimise the chances of complications. Let me know if you still experience any problems.

Nothing changed between last Friday and 2 hours ago so if the problems went away for you after the Friday episode, chances are it could have been DNS propagation related.

sammyboy and singsupplies are routed differently sof you're having problem with one then try the other and see how it goes. If one works and the other does not, then it indicates DNS issues as both domains point to the same server.

It was error 524. I logged in from sammyboy.com

..........it's most likely a database or slow application issue then.....but not sure why it happens for sammyboy and not singsupplies...

so it could also be an issue with the cloudflare api....

I'm amazed. Using singsupplies.com now here has all shortcuts. See my print screen below. No chance I could get this in Jkt and occasionally in Bkk. But here no issue.

If you can't follow, then your must be a LEADER. Leaders usually have difficulty following.
