yeah, my friend helped me buy the Nexus 5 from Google Japan Playstore. I don't have CC lah.. stay away from the G2, its UI is very cluttered and confusing. U can get a mental breakdown figuring out its intricacies.

If die die must get the G2, one needs to flash a custom ROM on it. detailed step by step instructions are available on XDA forums.

if pai, i just rma Google JP. But from my experience, mobile phones seldom cork out within 1 yr. so any provided warranty is usually redundant.

Nowadays I'm open to buying export sets rather than local sets with warranty. the significant costs saving of going for export sets will be more beneficial to my wallet in the long run.
