Just my observation that many members of this Sammyboy forum are homophobic some to the extreme threatening deaths and sodomy, why? What about a more tolerant and inclusive society? One never know if one's future child will also turn out to be LGBTQ.

This forum is a microcosm of Singapore society, as the host always loves to say. Those who appear docile and meek in real life find solace in the forum, where anonymity (or the perception thereof) allows them to unleash their own inner demons, or at the very minimum, speak what is honestly on their mind. People are not tolerant or inclusive by nature. These are character traits that must be cultivated patiently over a long time, from young. And the more abhorrent or disgusting the natural habits of one group of people (the gay men for instance), the more difficult it is for people to learn to accommodate them and treat them as equals. Those who go around sticking their penises into anuses full of shit naturally arouse in us a sense of revulsion. To overcome the natural instinct to discriminate and instead accept these men as equals takes an enormous amount of mental discipline.

As far as I know, the Ten Commandments doesn't say " Thou shall not be a racist or bigot." There is nothing wrong with being one, it is a personal prerogative and choice. And perfectly normal. It is not wrong to be prejudiced towards another being, so long as one does not physically or mentally abuse the other being. That would infringe on that other being's rights.

I am not inclined towards CHC (or any other church/temple, or forms of worship) - but neither am I against it. To me it is freedom of worship. I was just somewhat shocked to realise the number of people so angry with the pastor for what he did even when it did not affect them whatsoever. He did not force nor coerce anyone for any sum of money, Those who gave, did so williingly, out of their own hearts. Kong Hee is totally innocent as far as I am concerned.
