A 12-year-old girl was taken to hospital after an accident with a cyclist at Punggol Waterway Park on Aug 15.
According to a Facebook post on Aug 16, the girl was knocked down by the cyclist in front of Waterway Point.
The police told Stomp they received a call for assistance at about 5.20pm.
The girl was conscious when taken to hospital.
"A 51-year-old man is assisting with investigations for rash act causing hurt," police said, adding that investigations are ongoing.
A friend's 12 yrs old daughter was knocked down by a cyclist in-front of Waterway Point, Punggol yesterday. She is currently still unconscious in ICU. Decided to share to fellow cyclist, please please slow down when approaching crowds and people(especially near bus-stops and walk ways fill with old folks and children). No matter who's at fault, we as cyclist should really slow down since we are the one creating the impact. I have seen too many cyclist, sound bell and expect people to give way, while riding fast. It's true on certain path we have the "right" of way, and some pedestrian are just simply irresponsible and self-entitled, (same goes to some of us) still, I really do not think we want anyone hurt since we have control of a "vehicle". So, lets be gracious cyclist and enjoy a safe trip for ourselves and others. Thanks!

A woman on a bicycle was caught on camera using vulgarities in an altercation with a pedestrian at a traffic junction outside Jurong Point.
Several Stompers alerted Stomp to a 33-second video of the argument posted online by Singapore Incidents on Aug 26.
According to the post, the incident took place at 6am.
"This aunt screaming and yelling, cycling at a fast speed across the pedestrian pathway below the HDB. She knocked me down and shouted at me loudly," said the post.
"She even used her bicycle to run across my legs rudely.
"I told her to stop while I called for police assistance. She still rode off towards the direction of Jurong Point. Some passer-by told me that she's working in one of the F&B outlets in Jurong Point.
"It caused me to fall, and have bruises and some injury."
The post was credited to Adetitudeme Ida.
The video does not show whom the woman was arguing with.
Speaking in Hokkien, a voice called her a crazy woman.
She turned around and scolded the person in Mandarin: "You go and die."
The woman rang the bell on her bicycle and ranted about having to go to work and her bell being so loud, but people still didn't give way.
An unseen person can be heard letting out a cry.
After getting off her bike, the woman lifted it and banged it down on the ground in a threatening manner in front of the person taking the video.

She then walked backwards and purposely bumped into the video-taker, who can be heard grunting in pain before the video ends.
One netizen commented on Instagram: "Aiyoh auntie so rude ah!! Like gangster lol."

A driver had an encounter with a cyclist who allegedly blocked traffic near Katong V shopping mall in the early hours of Aug 31.
Stomper Shamini told Stomp that the man was 'hogging' the road and not giving way to cars.
"When I sounded the horn, his ego was triggered and he stopped in the middle of the road, refusing to move," she said.
"He signalled at us to take the next lane.
"When we started moving, he rode away and suddenly appeared by my passenger side, smiling."
A video and photo shared by Shamini show the cyclist flashing a 'peace' sign as if posing for the camera.
"Making him famous since he cooperated by posing for my photos and videos," she said.
"I am sharing this incident to warn others about this road bully so they can be cautious."

A man who confronted an elderly cyclist for not picking up his dog's poop claims he was knocked down by the cyclist, injuring his ankle in the process.
Mr Chew, 46, told reporters from Shin Min Daily News that he was walking his own pet at Alexandra Park Connector on Aug 29 when he saw an elderly man leave his dog's poop on a grass patch.
When asked to clean it up, the man retorted that he couldn't see it.
Mr Chew recounted: "He challenged me, saying if I saw it, I should clean it."
A video provided by Mr Chew shows the elderly man riding a bicycle while his dog defecates. Mr Chew is then seen approaching him, which leads to a heated argument between the two.
"He was very rude and asked me to clean it for him," said Mr. Chew. "Then he ran into me with his bicycle."
Mr Chew said he suffered a bruised ankle as a result.
He encounters the elderly man about four times a week. He said that the man didn't have any plastic bags with him, indicating he had no intention of cleaning up.
After being knocked down, Mr Chew held on to the man's bicycle to prevent him from leaving until police arrived.
In response to queries from The New Paper, the police confirmed that they received a call for assistance at Block 83 Strathmore Avenue in Queenstown at 5.05pm on Aug 29.
"A 46-year-old man sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention," the police said.

Signs asking dog owners to clean up after their pets have been put up along the park connector, with offenders facing a fine of up to $1,000.
Mr Chew claims the elderly man also pulled out one of these signs at Dawson Road and threw it on the ground.
He shared screenshots from a dog lover chat group where multiple people claimed to have seen the elderly man walking his dog multiple times.
A member of the chat group told Shin Min that although he had not witnessed the man's refusal to clean up after his pet, he was concerned about the way he walked the dog.
"The dog's leash was so short that it felt like he was dragging the dog along."
