Nobody is going to pay for page views. Whether it's 100,000 or 200,000 page views per day I still collect the same amount per banner monthly.

It's only if the high traffic is sustained over the long term that I can justify increasing the banner rates based upon improved site rankings. A few days of high traffic isn't enough to do that.

To be honest, my thoughts were on my beloved server but I was monitoring the load factor and it never exceeded 2.5 which bodes well for the future.

Now when there's a crisis or scandal, my server says "bring it on!!!".
