These toys are lame useless propagandas, all the security engineers knows how easily a counter-measure can render all stun guns useless. Just simple thick insulating clothes is all it takes, and if you are smarter, place (kitchen) aluminium foils between layers of thick wool or leather. Basically this will cause electrical impulses to short-circuit, and voltage dropped to zero volt. Wool and leather simply prevent the electrodes from reaching your skin.
