SINGAPORE: The Singapore team helping to fight haze-causing fires in Indonesia returned Saturday afternoon (Oct 24) after more than 10 days in Palembang.

In a Facebook post, Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen thanked “our men and women who overcame difficult conditions on this mission to put out hotspots and help the surrounding villages”.

Still dont want to ADMIT DEFEAT...........

I think Indonesia didn't want our help for fear that we might send in a squadron on the pretext of fighting haze, but end up invading the whole country.

After all, our air force is very tokkong. The only air force in the world where commander don't know how to fly a plane.

Expect the Pioneer magazine to have a feature article bragging about this, pontificating on the 'lessons learnt', the 'experiences shared', the 'sacrifices made' etc. And an obligatory self-congratulatory pat on the back about 'operational readiness'.

The country Indonesia is so huge...Kalimantan and Sumatra and the forest area is in millions of hectare : yet our brilliant Environmental Minister says we will help by sending .. ONE WATER BOMBER PLANE.

Indonesia called this as an insult. Vivan dared to insult...all in the interest of saving Dollar and cents for our beloved country, Singapore. They are already so pissed with us for keeping the billions of dollar of their corrupt official money and not returning to them..Hence, they will drag their feet and continue to smoke us for the next 20 years.

And here, our Minister gives them the short end of the stick.

For this..give the man a Heroic Medal...on the economic side of it..spending little to gain many many benefits.
