RWS is "commited to hiring locals"

Right.. Then why are they trying to employ Taiwanese workers according to Straits Times today. RWS can say "70% of our staff are locals" but can they prove to us with stats. It is akin to local universities saying they prefer locals but the large amount of foreigners in our local universities says something else

And one more question, it is understandable to bar Singaporeans with criminal records from stepping into the casino but what about foreigners who commit crimes in their own countries. Who can assure us that these foreigners have a clean record?

if u believe what the two irs say, then pigs can fly !!!
Don't forget,u can say one thing but do another thing.
They can don't do what they preach.
What can u do ? Nothing. No accountability.no transparency.no liability.
If singaporeans believe the miw that the opening the two irs are for creating jobs for all singaporeans ,then they deserve to have their heads on the chopping board !!!

Locals = Singaporeans + PRs lah

They also learn the govt-speak mah

According to CHAR_Azn, his brother who is working as a croupier in RW claims that most of the employed are locals.
So who do we believe?

Is there a MOM Dependency Quota of one full-time local worker to seven foreign workers (1:7) for IRs too?

They bring in boatloads of foreigners, apply PRs for them, and viola, most of their employees are locals.

Somebody hides a video camera in a bag and conceal a good directional microphone, park himself near the employees' service entrance and record the changing of shifts. If most of them don't speak Singlish, you've got your answer.

The casino is open later this week. Just go look see. No need to go to this much trouble of using cameras and end up getting caught.

And don't take my word for it go see for yourself. I believe my brother's word simply because he is my brother!!! U should believe your own 2 eyes, don't believe in the random bullshit in here.

The last time some jokers in here claimed to "see a lot of Ah Tiong and Pinos" at e2i for the jobs, turns out they've not even been to the place before. Best to use your own 2 eyes to see for yourself

2 possible scenarios.

1. This visitor gamble too often and too much; find out what he/she does, where the money comes from.

2. disseminate info to all credit bureaus; overdraft, credit facilities withdrawn by financial institutions.

You go to casinos using your IC or passport. Your Personal DATABANK WILL be formed.

IT WILL BE VERY DETAILED .

Why bother with Spore at all:confused:

Other than Macau there is Genting in Malaysia, the casinos in Poipet just next door to Bangkok.

Same logic as "no one will be left behind", "GST is for helping the poor"...:p

CB kia tonychat,

why dun u face the fact that your prostitute ladyboy wife is being screwed only a regular basis for a few thai baht..:D

Todate, Resort World is the most prominent anti-Singaporeans employer ever written on the face of Singapore history. Similar to MOM, they have not disclosed the statistic of their workforce strength in term of Singaporeans vs foreigners. I suspect foreigners are more than 50% of the current workforce and still increasing.
